General Description :We manufacture and export paper shopping bags, corrugated carton boxes, corrugated pallets trays, paper pallets and others. Please note that several Case Designs contained in the Code under a specific number could also be classified under other basic type groups.
  • Slotted-type boxes consist of basically one piece with a stitched, taped or glued manufactured and top and bottom flaps. They are shipped flat, ready to use and require closing using the flaps provided.
  • Telescope-type boxes consist of more than one piece and are characterized by a lid and /or bottom telescoping over the body of the box.
  • Folder-type boxes usually consist of only one piece of board. The bottom of the box is hinged to form two or all side walls and the cover. Locking tabs, handles, display panels, etc., can be incorporated in the design.
  • Slide-type boxes consist of several pieces of liners and sleeves sliding in different directions into each other. This group also includes outside sleeves for other cases.
  • Rigid-type boxes consist of two separate end pieces and a body and require stitching or similar operation before they can be used.
  • Self-erecting cases consist to basically one piece, are pre-glued by the case manufacture, shipped flat and ready to use by simple setting up.
  • Interior fitments such as inside liners, pads, partitions, dividers, etc.
  • The box is, in principle, type 0320 stitched S with handholds of type P, but the top part has flaps as 0209, the bottom part having flaps as 0204. Further the entire box has a partition type 0933 for 6 x 4 cells. If should be described as 0320, top 0209; Bottom 0204: S: P: Partitions 0933,6 x 4 or 0320 (0209/ 0204): S: P: 0933, 6x4.

Closure Of The Boxes

Correct and effective closure of the packages is as important as the package construction itself. The package is not satisfactory if it cannot be closed so that the closures and joints are at least as strong as the other parts. As regards shipping containers, the following methods of closure are possible either singly or in combination.
  • Gummed paper tape
  • Glue Self adhesive tape
  • Banding Staples or stitches
  • Diecut locks
  • Tapes
Where tapes are used, an effective method should be employed to ensure full and adequate adhesion. If ordinary paper tape is used the dosing should preferably be carried out by means of 6 strips (Fig. 1). The positioning of strips is shown in the series of illustration a-f. When using reinforced paper tape or pressure sensitive tape, two strips are normally sufficient. The tapes should overlap the ends of the box by 60 to 80mm.

Staples and Stitches

To close corrugated carton boxes and paper shopping bags and other boxes wide crown staples are sometimes used (Fig.3). All flaps of the box must be joined by crown staples (Rg. 4). The number of staples used depends on the dimensions and weight of the filled box and the transport hazards involved. A stitching machine may be used may to close the bottom flaps in series 02 corrugated boxes and the flaps in style 03 series. Portable stitching equipment has been developed which can be used for closing the four top flaps.
